Education & Training Project Officer
(TEAM#UP Project)
Location: Remote with travel opportunities (preference for Czechia, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Norway)
Contract: Two years duration, part time, freelance, approximately 50 hours/month

About the Role
SER Europe is looking for an organised, proactive Project Officer to help deliver its work within the ERASMUS+ TEAM#UP project. Working with the Project Manager and European partners, you will coordinate activities in dissemination, outreach, online resource development, and knowledge exchange. You will also support the Education & Training Working Group (ETWG) and YOUNG#ER, our networks for educators and early-career restoration professionals.
This role suits someone with experience in COST, ERASMUS or other international multi-partner projects, strong communication and digital skills, and the ability to coordinate collaborators and maintain online resources.

Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
- Join weekly coordination meetings and provide updates across work packages (Quality Assurance, DERTO, Communications/Outreach).
- Co-lead the Outreach Committee and Work Package 7 (Dissemination, Impact & European Exchange).
- Organise partner meetings, track deliverables, gather inputs, and ensure timely reporting.
- Support financial and administrative reporting and maintain organised project records.
Digital Platform & Resource Library
- Manage and update the Digital Ecosystem Restoration Toolbox Online (DERTO).
- Work with designers/developers on improvements, fixes, and usability.
- Contribute to guidelines and user experience enhancements.
- Coordinate the Quality Assurance process for training and education resources included on DERTO.
Communications & Outreach
- Maintain the TEAM#UP website and publish news updates.
- Lead the projects’ social media communications (LinkedIn, Instagram, project news) in coordination with SER-Europe Communications.
- Draft press releases and manage outreach to media.
- Coordinate project visibility at European/global events while meeting EU requirements.
- Contribute to project dissemination and impact reporting to the EU.
- Produce the 6-monthly TEAM#UP Newsletter and maintain Outreach KPIs.
Support to Working Groups and in Training
- Provide ongoing support to the Education and Training WG chair and WG members for the organisation of WG activities (meeting organisation and meetings, to do list, etc).
- Help develop and promote education and training opportunities for early-career restoration professionals (YOUNG#ER).
- Explore and expand collaboration opportunities with SER Certification Programme Manager and the CERP/CERPIT program.
- Assist with summer schools, webinars, training materials, and event organisation at SER-Europe conferences.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience with EU-funded or international multi-partner projects.
- Strong communication skills (social media, web content, newsletters).
- Excellent organisation and time management.
- Confident in leading meetings and collaborating across organisations.
- Ability to track KPIs and support basic financial reporting.
- Fluent in English; other European languages are an asset.
