The EU-funded projects WaterLANDS and Care-Peat are organising an event on 26th October 2022 afternoon, in Brussels’ European Quarter.

The event “For peat’s sake” – Strengthening peatlands’ targets in the Nature Restoration Law will showcase why healthy peatlands are key to a successful Nature Restauration Law. The event will consist in two parts:

The high-level policy event will be hosted by Member of the European Parliament, Jutta Paulus, Shadow rapporteur for the Greens group on the Nature Restoration Law, and enclose a statement of Environment Commissioner Virginius Sinkevičius (TBC). This part II is addressed to decision-makers.
