Palermo, Italy: 2nd Int. Symposium on The Role Of Plant Genetic Resources In Reclaiming Lands And Environment Deteriorated By Human And Natural Actions

The abstract submission deadline is 15 March 2020

The objective of the Symposium is to share interdisciplinary knowledge about the actions needed for the recovery of degraded lands and deteriorated environment in a broader sense, including the advancements in basic knowledge of plant species, as well as about the most recent tools and techniques adopted in habitat restoration and land recovery.

The Congress will be structured into five main Topics:
Session I:     Genetic diversity and germplasm conservation of wild and cultivated plants useful for land recovery;
Session II:    From land degradation to ecosystem services;
Session III:   Alien plant species and recovery of degraded areas;
Session IV:    Renaturalization, afforestation and biotechnology techniques for land recovery;
Session V:     Biology and ecophysiology of plant species.
