SER-Europe, REVER and University of Brest, will host the 15th European Conference on Ecological Restoration (SERE2026) in Brest, France, from 24 to 28 August 2026. The conference will bring together practitioners, researchers, policymakers, and partners to share new work in ecological restoration and strengthen collaboration across Europe. This edition will place particular emphasis on ecological networks, marine ecosystems, and emerging approaches that support the implementation of National Restoration Plans across the European Union.
Call for Proposals: Special Sessions, Workshops, and Training Courses
The conference Organizing Committee invites proposals for Special Sessions, Workshops, and Training Courses. Each format plays an important role in building a strong and relevant program for SERE2026. Please submit using the dedicated page on the conference website and the required template for each proposal type.
- Special Sessions address any aspect of ecological restoration and include four to six presentations organized around a shared theme. Sessions may run for 1.5 to 3 hours.
- Workshops offer focused, interactive discussions and are designed to support knowledge exchange and problem-solving. They may be organised in different ways depending on the facilitators’ needs.
- Training Courses focus on practical skills and professional development. They will take place on Monday, 24 August, and typically run for a full day. Additional fees may apply.
The Deadline to submit a proposal is 1 March 2026.
