The European Chapter of the Society for Ecological Restoration is staffed by part-time contracted freelancers, project interns and volunteers who coordinate and communicate with the Executive Board, Board of Directors and the General Membership.
We are passionate about driving forward policy environment-positive policy making, effectively communicating and disseminating the latest groundbreaking research in ecosystem restoration practices, and networking experts, researchers and practitioners together.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Boris coordinates the daily operations of SER-Europe, with specific responsiblity for fundraising and strategic development. He is also responsible for SER-Europe’s participation in LIFE-BCR, LIFE WoodMeadows and AlfaWetlands.
He has 25 years of experience in conservation and the management of non-profit organisations.

Sébastien is responsible for all financial and administrative matters relating to SER-Europe. He analyses and tracks project finances, as well as streamlining the back-office and providing ad-hoc team support.
MARINE RESTORATION PROJECT OFFICER
Sahar Stevenson-Jones

Sahar is responsible for SER-Europe’s participation in CLIMAREST and REDRESS, and the co-ordination of the Marine Restoration Working Group. She is also responsible for SER-Europe’s activities as part of the TEAM#UP project. She is passionate about true and inclusive stakeholder engagement, ocean literacy and effective outreach.
