Deep-Sea Restoration Webinar Series: Knowing How to Restore

26 November @ 13:00 - 14:30 UTC+1
FREE

Building on our previous webinar, “Knowing where to restore?”, this second edition takes a deeper look at the key aspects of deep-sea ecological restoration. We will explore why location matters, how to identify where to restore, and the tools and techniques that support these decisions, including the mapping of potential sites.

Drawing on local case studies, experts and project partners will share how the REDRESS project uses degradation maps, fishing footprints, and habitat suitability to select sites for intervention, and what limitations they encounter along the way.

The webinar will also cover further topics, including affordability, degradation under shifting conditions, and data gaps.

Join us on 26 November 2026 13:00 CET.
