SER Europe is keen to build partnerships with national and regional ecological restoration networks, as well as thematic working groups focused on restoring specific ecosystem types or species groups across Europe. Through these collaborations, SER Europe aims to strengthen outreach and interaction across:
- Language barriers between practitioners, policymakers, and scientists
- Differences in national restoration policies and socio-economic contexts
- Diverse knowledge disciplines within ecological restoration theory and practice

REVER: French Restoration Experts Network
REVER or “Le Réseau d’échanges et de valorisation en écologie de la Restauration” has pretty much the same goals as SER Europe, but is restricted to France. They organize national conferences and other activities that link the French restoration community. In 2014 REVER became an affiliated member of SER-Europe.

SIRF: Italian Society of Forest Restoration
Based at Tuscia University in Italy, SIRF promotes forestry and environmental restoration principles, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable forest management. The organization supports research, training, consultancy, and scientific events. SIRF became an affiliated member of SER-Europe in 2015.

FBER: Finnish Board on Ecological Restoration
FBER is a collaborative national group of managers, scientists, and restoration experts working across Finland. The board supports restoration and habitat management on both public and private land through several expert groups focused on peatlands, forests, freshwater habitats, and semi-natural grasslands.

AEET: Spanish Association for Terrestrial Ecology
AEET is the largest ecological society in Spain and a member of the European Ecological Federation. Its Ecological Restoration Working Group has supported knowledge exchange and collaboration in restoration science and practice for more than a decade.
