DESCRIPTION:he Coordinating Committee for International Voluntary Service – CCIVS\, invites you to participate in a free online event on the Future of Soil taking place over three days between the 15-17 March 2022 13:30-15:30 CET. \nDuring the 3-day event\, we will hear from an environmental and human rights lawyer\, an expert on the state of soil in the EU\, a representative from UNESCO and from the FAO\, as well as indigenous land guardians\, farmers practising regenerative soil strategies\, activists\, volunteers\, young people and urban soil activists who will share why soil is so essential to life on Earth and how they are taking a stand on behalf of soil. \nDo you know what you can do to protect\, conserve and regenerate soil? Would you like to learn and be inspired? \nDay 1 will host a live conference on Zoom to discuss advocating for Soil rights\, the Soil4Life Manifesto and Positive Actions for Soil. Day 2 (Voices from soil guardians and activists from the field) and 3 (Volunteering for soil\, inspiring stories and voices from the youth) will be pre-recorded. You can write questions for the speakers in the registration form!
